A really strange problem has arisen with AC3D today, that results in dialog boxes not appearing when I choose a menu option: e.g. Tools/Texture Coordinate Editor...
Until today, choosing this option will result in a dialog box opening with the texture file as background, and the object overlaid on the image. At first I thought this was related to the X-Plane plugin, but after deleting the existing plugin and installing a new download (restarted the PC) the problem still occurred. I removed the version of AC3D I was using (8.5.55) and installed v 9.0.22 with a new X-Plane plugin. I restarted my PC and the problem still exists. I have stopped all other apps and trued running AC3D on its own: no change. I am running 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1140F @ 2.60 GHz, with 32.0 GB RAM, Windows 11 Home v21H2 Any ideas/suggestions? It baffles me that the functionality should suddenly stop working overnight, with no changes to the PC. Thanks Drew |

They may be off the edge of the screen.
try setting: File->setting->advanced->move-windows-to-main-screen then quitting and restarting AC3D. If that doesn't work, try deleting ac3dprefs8.txt from your home folder. |

Re-installing AC3D and restarting the PC seems to have solved the problem.
Many thanks. |
