faces highlighting that I don't want?
I'm very new to this and only experimenting, so forgive me if this is a rather dub question!
but I'm puzzled. I'm using a few Second Life templates as starting models, but what I find is when I highlight some faces on one surface other faces elsewhere also highlight automatically. Someone kindly posted on these forums a "barstool" demo file, which I uploaded and clicked on a few of the top faces, and some polygons on the bottom them highlighted also (which I did not want) So I thought I'd highlight some of the bottom faces and see what happened, and some of the polygons on the side (shaft) highlighted also. Am I doing something basically wrong? Running Windows 7 64-bit if that makes any difference. What I "think" is happening is that when in "Surface Selection" mode often when I select a suface that's facing me, it often also selects a surface on the other dise of the model and the same time. I then have to go and un select this other surface. Perhaps I have a setting wrong? Last edited by Tempest; 26th September 2009 at 11:30 AM. |

Re: faces highlighting that I don't want?
Do you have select through checked? It is located on the bottom line of the AC3D window.
