Default Where is obj file in X-Plane???

Can somebody please tell me how to get the obj file in X-plane...All I find is the ACF file... :roll:

if you want a version 7 format object file from an acf file, you need to look in the 'special' menu of planemaker, this creates a version 7 object file in the BASE directory for x-plane, so you will see it where the executables are stored. it will end in .obj and is called somthing like 'plane' or similar, if you do this operation more than once it will just overwrite that file I think.

the objects for specific aircraft have specific formats check out the f22 that ships with x-plane. these files are found in the aircraft directories.
