I see that you can use the "shift" key to add more vertices in your selection - even from different viewports. However, I also need to be able to un-select some unwanted vertices after getting some from behind the ones I want - is there a combination of keys that will let me individually select these unwanted vertices (from a differnt view, of couse), while all the while keeping all the vertices that were originally selected except for the ones I pick to unselect? That option would make it possible to single out specific sets of vertices with precision. If not, then how can you avoid getting all those vertices located behind the ones you want to select? jerrylynnb

Use the right mouse button to unselect your vertices.
Works also with the shift key pressed. |
