Here is a picture of the current project that I'm working on now. I've put up a generic background just to show you what happens. Imagine that the generic background is a sky texture to give the scene a realistic look. Every time I go to render with PovRay, there's always a light that gets cast from the camera's perstective.
Here's is what is listed at the bottom of the Povray file: "light_source {<0, 0, 5> color rgb < 1 1 1 >" Every time I render I have to delete this line to keep the shadow from being cast. Is there any way to configure AC3D to where it doesn't do that every time I render? ![]() |

Fantastic model and rendering!
Switch off the headlight in the 3D window (press L or use the menu) before you render - this will prevent the light line being output. Andy |

Thanks, I'm still quite the newb at all of this. Thanks for the quick responce, I guess I should have known that.
BTW, I think it would really be great if you had a members gallery link at the front of your web site. I love to go to all the "different" 3D web sites and look at all the models and scenes that members create. I am amazed at what those young fellers can come up with, very inspiring. There's still a lot of stuff that I'm going to do this bike. I think I might put some kind of freak riding it or something lol. BTW, that worked. Much better.... ![]() |
