I am viewing my models in an external program that uses the Ambient color in a different way than AC3D. All my models look dark. Looking through my materials in AC3D shows a dark ambient color. I know that I can change the default Ambient color but I don't think that is what I really need. The only time I see the color that I am expecting is if Ambient Color is the same as my Diffuse. Would it be possible to have an option to set my Ambient default to be the same as Diffuse? Maybe there is a plugin that does this? I would think of doing it myself but I really have no experience. I waste a lot of time going into every color to set the Ambient...ANY IDEAS??

Not easy to implement but this might help you a bit - you can set the default levels for the materials in the File->Settings->Advanced.
