Default symmetrical vertx adjustment

Hi,

I am getting used to using AC3D to create and manipulate X-Plane 7.6 aircraft files. What I would like to know/request is this:

I would generally like to keep the vertices either side of the Y-Axis in the same place, only mirrored about the Y axis, in order for the aircraft to be symetrical about the XY plane.

Is this possible or is it freehand all the way??

many thanx

Whilst building, use Views->realtime-mirror->y. This will mirror the object in real time - without creating new vertex and surfaces.

After you've assembled your object, switch this off and use object->mirror to actually create a full object.
