Default hard copy of ac3d v. 4 pdf user manual?

i have attempted to print a hardcopy of the new user manual using various readers: acrobat reader 5.05/5.08 (linux), ghostview (linux), acrobat reader 5/6 (windows) without success. (ghostview gives me an error message involving "filter undefined" while i'm viewing pages).

any suggestions?

thanks

Default Re: hard copy of ac3d v. 4 pdf user manual?

I've found exactly the same sort of thing.

Using Acrobat Reader 5 & 6 on a Windows2000 SP3 PC I've tried printing on three separate printers: an HP Laserjet 6MP, a Minolta 3100 color laser and an HP deskjet 970C.

It prints fine on the HP970 deskjet. It prints fine on the Laserjet6 as long as I use a PCL driver.

It won't print ever on the Minolta (the driver is set to use Postscript) and if I use the Postscript driver for the Laserjet 6MP, then it won't print on that either.

So something to do with using Postscript then?

The error that's printed out (the only thing that does get printed) starts with:

ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: filter
STACK:
/DCT
-filestream-
-filestream-
-mark-
/_Filters

(then a whole bunch more)

Doesn't mean much to me as I'm not a Postscript expert.

Thanks to Jonathan, the manual PDF has been recreated and this one appears to print.

Please download it and let us know if you still have problems.

AC3D 4 manual pdf 1.8meg (right click and select save as...)
