I tried a search to see if there was already somehting for volume and came across this thread here; http://www.inivis.com/forum/showthread.php?p=31604 which appears to nolonger be usable.
Does any one know of a plugin or resource to calculate the volume of a given object in AC3D? A plugin that can take the volume of an object and calculate mass using provided density would be most helpfull as well as that is the end goal of finding the volume of an object. I am trying to figur out how much a part I designed in AC3D would weigh if built using specific materials. And the part in question is not a simple shape either. |

The supercoldmilk plugins are here:
http://www.inivis.com/supercoldmilk/...g/calcvol.html For that object - you could use Surface->calculate-surface-area after selecting one side; then multiply the result by the thickness of the object? Last edited by Andy; 20th August 2017 at 03:20 PM. |
