Default texture-grid stretch to trapezoid

Hello,
is it possible to stretch the WHOLE grid to a trapezoid (as shown) in the texture-editor.
Or does this work with ONE rectangle only?

Thanks Gogo

It's not possible. You'll need to stretch each vertical section separately.

I can see how this would be very useful though. Something for the future.

Thanks Andy, for the answer. I did so separatly. :-))
My first idea was, to put the question to the new features section.

I'm building all my models with real pictures, the textures would never be rectangular.

With the possibility of stretching the grid, one could reduce the previous work in graphics-software.

And using this "grid" is necessary for fine-adjusting "inner" texture-structures.

Thanks and have a nice weekend, Gogo
