Default How to save file? Can it make a VRML file?

My english is not good.
I am the beginner of AC3D. I want to finish an assignment about VRML with AC3D.
But, when i want to save, it send a AC3D Message to me and say that "can't open the file C:/Document............./a.ac for writiing", Can you teach me how to solve this problem? On the other hand, VRML's file is "XX.wrl", but AC3d is "XX.ac", what is "ac"? Can I use AC3D to finish my assignment? If not, which software can help me?

Thank you very much!!!

I've only been using AC3D for a while now but I do know you need to export the file from the file>export command. There are also some extra VRML commands you can access in the file>settings. You apparently know more about VRML than I. If this helps I would really like to know what you were trying to accomplish and how.
