Hey.
Could support for OTF formatted fonts be implemented in a future version of AC3D? Right now, it looks like it only supports TTF fonts. |

Replace the file in the tcl folder with this one and you'll be able to load otf files too.
AC3D uses Freetype so it already supports otf files, it just needed adding to the code. I'll build this into the next release - cheers! |

I replaced the original ac3dttfont.tcl file and unfortunately it still won't show any *.otf fonts in the Add TrueType Text dialog, only *.ttf fonts as before.

Have you tried changing the folder in the font tool so that it points at a directory containing *.otf files?
I'm not sure why but, after installing otf fonts, you can't see them in the windows fonts folder (i.e. via cmd and a dir command). The font control panel shows oft files installed, and shows the filenames, but it looks like they are hidden automatically. Last edited by Andy; 21st May 2021 at 10:28 AM. |
