Selecting vertices on different objects
I'm a newbie at AC3D, but I can't find this in the FAQ.
How do you select vertices on different objects at the same time. For example: you've got two boxes you want to select 2 vertices on box 1 and two vertices on box 2. How to you do that? I tried ctrl select, shift select, alt select, etc. But, no matter what I did, only the last vertice was selected. |

Hold down shift and click/drag with left-mouse-button.
shift+right-mouse-button will remove those vertices from the selection. Andy |

I forgot to say in my first message that I tried that. But, it doesn't seem to work in the way I wanted.
When I do what you suggest, it selects every vertex contained in the box. Then, when I select "Vertex=>Snap objects by vertices", I get the following message. "select two vertices - both of different objects" What I wanted to do was 'discretely' select points without using a box. Is that possible? |

Make sure you are in Vertex mode and then you'll be able to select individual points without using a box.
