How to constrain an object?
I'm new to AC3D (Mac Version 5) and I can't figure out how to make a "Perfect" Sphere, Cube Circle etc........ In most other apps, if you hold down the shift key when drawing, it constrains the object so all sides are the same dimension.
Is there a similar feature in AC3D? or do we just have to "eyeball" it? |

Welcome to the forums.
You can hold down Ctrl while drag/creating a new object. Or, to proportionally resize an existing object, hold Ctrl down and resize your selection via one of the corners. You can also Ctrl+resize along the side of an object to proportionally resize along an axis. Good luck, Dennis |

Howdy Howdy,
Dennis is spot on. You can also single click to make a new object - that will make a regular shape that will fit in a 1x1x1 cube (or square). Andy |
