Import .lwo to AC3D
Hi all. Been a while since I've participated here. I have a bunch of .lwo aircraft meshes that I want to bring into AC3D (7.0.11). I was sure AC3D could do this a few years ago, but now the .lwo format is not recognised ?

Re: Import .lwo to AC3D
Heya, Baders! Long time no see!
I'm still using 6.7.15a, so can't verify anything from your version.... But it could be that you're missing a plug-in or two (that might have been reconfigured as the program matured)? Look in your plugins/ folder inside AC3Ds hierarchy, and check for the presence of lwimport.p and lwexport.p If you don't find them, that could be the problem. I can get you copies of them stat. PM me here, and we can get together via Skype. Also, just to verify process, are you using File/Open or File/Import to try to access the .lwos? I believe you need to use the latter to access that file format. Finally, do let me know what you're up to if you're tinkering with old TW .lwos. If there's any life left in that code, I'd probably like to be in on it...

Re: Import .lwo to AC3D
Heya Stig, good to hear from you !! I checked as you said and those plugins are not present.
Nothing on the TW front unfortunately, but I have of late been tinkering, almost tripled the poly count on the Beaufighter.ac I'm taking a good long look at IL2/HSFX/SEOW Mod. Dated original code, but what they have done with it in modding has my blood up again I'll PM you my skype.

Re: Import .lwo to AC3D
I am running 7.0.1 (Windows) and LWO is one of the file formats listed in import.

I have 2 files in my plugins folder, lwimport.P and lwexport.P. Are these in your Plugins folder?
