AC3D 6.7 OUT NOW!
Collada, Collada, Collada Collada is a powerful 3D file format that is becoming one of the primary 3D file interchange standards. Our AC3D engineers have spent lots of time fine-tuning the new AC3D Collada geometry importer. Our testing found that it supported Collada files better than some other commercial 3D software. Collada files are one of the primary formats used in Google’s 3D Warehouse. So now, AC3D users have access to a full library of objects including buildings, vehicles and much more. Look for Collada (.dae) files. Many models can be downloaded from here. Summary of other changes
Download AC3D 6.7 now : www.inivis.com/download Available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux Upgrades AC3D 6.7 is free if you purchased AC3D (or upgraded) after December 2008. If you purchased your license earlier, visit our upgrade center for a discounted upgrade: www.inivis.com/upgrade.html Thanks for your support! The Inivis Team www.inivis.com |

Thanks for a further improvement. Seems to load faster in W7. I would have appreciated if the update would load in the previous version thus avoiding the transfer of data.

A problem has been identified with the license handling in AC3D 6.7.15 – Windows versions only. Once a license key has been entered it is not correctly stored and you may be unable to save files.
If you have already downloaded AC3D 6.7.15, please uninstall it and download the AC3D 6.7.15a replacement. Only the Windows version is affected. We apologize for this problem. Enjoy AC3D! |

Hi Andy, 6.7.15 loaded and worked fine for me in Win7, but I un installed it and loaded 6.7.15a. The Surface Hiding script is now working fine ?????
![]() I'm sure you are going to take some time off, but when you get back to it, could you put the surface hide / unhide command in the standard interface. Thanks as always for a great program. Art |

I have been using version 6.5 and just installed the 6.7 version. How do I move my object library? When I use windows explorer, there isn't anything there.
Or am I mistaking on the default path I should be looking for? The Object Library window shows this as the library root path, but there is nothing there but the Samples and SecondLife folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\AC3D 6.5.28\models I'm afraid if I uninstall 6.5, I'll loose my collection of Objects. Thanks, |

The (un)installer won't remove anything it didn't put there.
Copy the models folder across to your new installation if you want to. alternatively move the files somewhere else and set the object library path to it. |

Sorry to be confused about this. I'm using Windows 7 if that has anything to do with it. I tried making a copy of my models folder from 6.5 and placed it elsewhere. I then changed my root library path in AC3D and nothing but the Samples and SecondLife Folder show up. How are the folders hidden from view of my library objects? I've checked and rechecked my explorer settings and show hidden folders is enabled. The only view that shows me my object library folder is that in the object library dialog box.
Just a very odd observation! However, I tested version 6.7 and it does show me the object files and folders when I save via the Object Library in 6.7. Could this be related to the bug fixes installed in 6.7? |

aha - check the Object Library root (top of Object Library window)- if this is set to the old library, it will get the files from there.
