Unwanted Surfaces
I seem to have this problem with hidden unwanted surfaces in AC3D. When I do the models in the editor, they look fine, but when I load them up into the code I often get these ugly black surfaces. look at the picture below as an example. Notice that on each step of the stairway on both sides there apears these little black triangles.

I suspect the stair sides are a single polygon? If so - triangulate them (menu surface->triangulate). AC3D triangulates polys automatically but it looks like your viewer doesn't.
